The school was founded in 2007, as a co-educational, residential school in the memory of Late Sh. Narayan Dutt Thakur. The school has been set up by Mr. Hira Thakur. The school aim is to ensure that its students achieve their highest academic and personal potential. It also aims to give them a firm foundation, based upon an understanding of Indian culture, society and ideas. However, the school aims to use that base to build more globally aware citizens prepared for the rigirous of the 21st century. This is encouraged through the curriculum, visits, expeditions, exchange programmes and school events.

The school educates both boys and girls from classes I to XII (age groups 5 to 18) under the CBSE pattern. The medium of instruction is English. The teacher ratio is 1:20. This allows the school to have a healthy teacher-student ratio, which ensure that individual needs can be assessed and individual help and support can be given.

The school has been built to accomodate more than 200 students at the same time. Its facilities allow students to participate in a wide variety of activities. This ensure that each student can find and develop his own individual talents. Our sole aim is to create all-rounders, capable of achieving their highest accademic potential.

We train students to be disciplined citizens. We are out to create a generation of courages young men and women who can face harsh realities of life. We make scholars but not bookworms; players but not doping machines, we empower teachers but not let them become mini-dictators. We understand that only quality education can help them tide-over the challenges ahead. A well knit schedule of activities aims at grooming them into well-rounded personalities. Only quality education, which is a synthesis of a cultural and modern, can prepare them to face the battle of life. In short, we ensure a harmonious and holistic development of the child.
